Besides these healthy runs of Atlantic Salmon from the beginning of fishing season in late May, there are beautiful Sea Trout, too, and the big Brown Trout and lovely Arctic Grayling, which are inhabiting these rivers permanently and adding a lot of beauty and joy to the fly fishing.

 

Strelna river

Strelna river is the 5th largest river on Kola Peninsula in Russia, surrounded by the mix of taiga and tundra, Strelna is a real remote wilderness. You will not find a single stranger fishing salmon on the banks of this river, feeling of complete wild nature will be coming to your mind once you step out of the helicopter. Compare to Chavanga, this river is much faster and rockier, quick rapids and thrilling waterfalls with jumping atlantic salmons make this river unforgettable. Strelna looks like the river of nothern cost of Kola Peninsula. You might require some experience in waiding to fish comfortably on this river. Nevertheless the results will surely surpass the expectations. Intensive Atlantic salmon run happens here twice a year, which makes it comfortable to fish the river throughout whole season.

Strelna camp

Strelna salmon fishing camp is located in the picturesque location on the island right in the delta of the river. It takes only about 1 min walk to get to the river bank. Strelna fishing camp can offer our guests all they need to have an unforgettable fishing experience. Six double room houses fit up to 12 guests each week. Single or double accommodation to choose from. Stylish houses are fitted with drying rooms, bathrooms with showers, electricity and hot water. Dining room is located in separate building, where all fishermen gather for  breakfast, lunch and dinner to share their stories and emotions. Local chef and waiting staff will take care of our guests in the best way possible.
